Subprocessors

On this page
These are the companies that process personal data for RemoteAccessApp: for our own users (where we're the controller, see our Privacy Policy) and for businesses that use RemoteAccessApp for their team (where we're their processor, see our Data Processing Agreement). Each one only gets what it needs for its job, under a contract with data protection terms.
Our subprocessors
| Company | What it does for us | Data it handles | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Our hosting provider (Australia) | Runs our servers: the account, relay and update servers and the website, with our database and backups | Everything we store (see the Privacy Policy), in encrypted connections and on its machines | Australia |
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Delivers our website and protects it from attacks; runs the sign-up form's "I'm not a robot" check (Turnstile); forwards emails sent to our addresses to us | Website visitors' IP addresses and requests; emails you send us | United States, and its worldwide network |
| Resend, Inc. | Sends our emails (confirmations, password resets, sign-in codes, security emails, alerts, and product news if you opt in) | Your email address and what each email says | United States |
| Stripe (Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates) | Takes payments for Pro and runs subscriptions and invoices | Your email address, card and billing details (we never see card numbers), payment history | United States, and other countries where Stripe operates |
| tawk.to inc. | Runs the live chat on our website's public pages, only if you allow it | Chat messages, any name or email you give, IP address and browser details | United States |
Our servers and your account data are in Australia. Australia doesn't have an adequacy decision from the European Commission, so for people in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses for data that comes to us there, and our providers in the United States use the Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (see "International transfers" in the Privacy Policy).
Others who receive data, but aren't our subprocessors
They decide for themselves what they do with it, under their own privacy policies:
| Company | When | Data | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Platforms, Inc. in the US) | Only if you allow ad measurement on our website (in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, only after you accept it; never with Global Privacy Control) | Pages viewed and a few actions (Download, Get Pro, account created), IP address, browser details, Meta's cookies. We're joint controllers with Meta for collecting it on our website | Ireland, the United States and other countries |
| Your browser's push service (Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft) | Only if you turn on notifications (Pro) | Encrypted notifications it can't read, and when they're sent | Usually the United States |
| Your AI assistant's provider (for example Anthropic, for Claude Code) | Only if you connect an AI assistant to RemoteAccessApp on your own PC | What the assistant sees and does; it goes from your PC to them, never through us | As that provider says |
When this list changes
Before we add or replace a subprocessor, we update this page and email the owners of accounts with a team at least 30 days in advance, so businesses that use our Data Processing Agreement can object. Anyone else who'd like these emails can ask at [email protected]. If you object and we can't resolve it together, you can stop using RemoteAccessApp and cancel before the change.
