Remote IT support for small businesses

In a small business, IT is often one person's side job. RemoteAccessApp puts the office PCs, the server and the network gear in one Windows app, so you can fix things without walking across the building, or driving in on a Saturday. Staff are asked before you connect and see a banner while you're there.

  • Free for work use
  • Commands on many PCs
  • Staff always told

One app for the office's PCs and servers

Small offices rarely need a heavyweight IT platform. They need a dependable way to see a screen, run a fix, check a service and reach the server, with a clear record of when someone connected. That's what RemoteAccessApp does. For what that looks like day to day, read about a week of remote IT help for a five-person office.

The free RemoteAccessApp Agent goes on each office PC. The Console goes on yours. Every PC shows up on the Devices page with who's online, and from there you can open a live session, run a command on several PCs at once, or look at their processes, services and Event Log side by side. Your servers, and the admin pages of your router, switch or NAS, sit in the same app as saved connections.

The free plan is for personal and commercial use alike, with no "we think you're a business" surprises. It covers up to 5 PCs and 5 saved hosts, with 3 open at once, which is enough for many small teams to start with. Fair, simple pricing is one of the reasons we set out in why choose our remote desktop app.

Built for the everyday IT jobs

  • Remote control with consent

Help someone at their desk: they click Allow, you see their screen, and you can chat while you fix it.

  • One command, many PCs

Select PCs on the Devices page, type a PowerShell or Command Prompt command once, and see each PC's output and exit code.
  • Windows tools

Processes, services, sign-in sessions and the Event Log across several PCs, with filters. End a process or start, stop and restart a service.
  • Several screens at once

Open PCs in tabs or a live grid, and use Mirror input to do the same thing on each. Free opens 3 at once.
  • Servers and network gear

SSH, SFTP and FTP for servers, RDP and VNC for remote desktops, and web admin panels for the router, switch or NAS.

  • After-hours access

Unattended access, switched on at each PC, for maintenance when nobody's at their desk. The banner still shows.

Fix things without interrupting people

Plenty of problems don't need anyone's screen. A stuck print spooler, a service that stopped, a full disk or a question about what happened overnight can all be answered from Windows tools or a command. You pick the PCs, and the results come back side by side. With Pro, you can also hand checks like these to an assistant through AI remote support with Claude Code, under the same consent rules.

These tools follow the same rules as the mouse and keyboard. They run during a session, only while Allow remote control is on at that PC, and the banner says when a command prompt is open. Anything that needs administrator rights on the PC returns a clear error instead of failing silently. Commands need Windows 10 version 1809 or later.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Create a free account

Sign up and open your dashboard. Add a PC gives you a 6-digit setup code.
  2. Step 2: Set up each office PC

Run the installer on the PC, choose Set up this PC and enter the code. It installs without admin rights, or for every user if you are an administrator.
  3. Step 3: Look after them from your desk

Open the Console on your PC, or the website from anywhere. Connect, run commands, or check Windows tools.

Staff stay informed, and you stay accountable

  • Asked first. Unless unattended access is on for that PC, the person at it allows each session and sees who is asking.
  • A banner the whole time, with a chat button, and a switch that makes your session view-only.
  • Private sessions. In the app, sessions are end-to-end encrypted and never recorded. See security.
  • Protect the account. Turn on two-factor sign-in, and limit your account and PCs to trusted networks.
  • Be upfront. If other people use the PCs you connect to, tell them about RemoteAccessApp. Our Privacy Policy explains what's kept.

When you outgrow the free plan

Pro removes the limits: unlimited PCs and saved hosts, as many open at once as you like, sound and every monitor. It also adds Teams, so you can share chosen PCs and hosts with a colleague (everyone in a team needs Pro), and synced saved passwords, end-to-end encrypted.

Everything on the free plan stays free. The page on everything RemoteAccessApp can do lists each feature, with what's free and what comes with Pro.
