Connection manager
One place for your RDP, VNC and SSH connections
Keep every remote connection you use in one list: Remote Desktop (RDP), VNC, SSH, SFTP and FTP hosts, and the web admin pages of your servers and network gear. Open them in tabs in one Windows app, and find the same list on every PC you sign in on.
- RDP and VNC in tabs
- Web admin panels
- Free for 5 hosts
Stop hunting for connection details
Most people who look after computers end up with connection details scattered everywhere: a few saved Remote Desktop files, a VNC address in a note, SSH hosts in a text file, and a bookmark for the router. When something breaks, you waste time finding the right one.
RemoteAccessApp gives them one home. The Connections page holds every saved host, sorted into groups you choose. Search for a name, open it, and it appears in a tab next to whatever else you have open, including live sessions on your own Windows PCs.
Every kind of connection, in tabs
Remote Desktop (RDP)
RDP hosts open in a tab using the Remote Desktop component built into Windows, with your saved host, user name and display settings, and a full-screen button.VNC
A built-in VNC client opens VNC servers in a tab. Set a host to go through one of your saved SSH hosts, so the VNC server never has to face the internet.SSH, SFTP and FTP
Terminal tabs, and a two-pane file manager with drag and drop. More on the SSH client page.Web admin panels
Save the admin page of a server's management console, a switch, a router or a NAS. It opens in a browser tab inside the app, with Fill sign-in, Copy password and Open in browser buttons.Groups
Sort connections into groups by customer, site or job. Drag a host onto a group to move it, and rename or delete groups as you go.Search
Search your saved hosts, web panels and PCs by name, user, address or type on the Connections page.
How it works
Step 1: Install the Console
Download RemoteAccessApp for Windows 10 or 11, choose the Console, and sign in with a free account.Step 2: Add your hosts
On the Connections page, add each RDP, VNC, SSH, SFTP or FTP host, or a web panel's address. Put them in groups if you like.Step 3: Open them anywhere
Open a host to connect in a tab. Sign in on another PC and your list is already there.
Your list follows you, your passwords stay put
Saved hosts sync to your account: names, addresses, ports, user names and display options follow you to every PC you sign in on, and show on your dashboard on the website. Your SSH hosts even open in a terminal there, in any browser.
Passwords and keys are never part of that list. They're stored encrypted on the PC where you saved them. With Pro you can sync saved passwords too, end-to-end encrypted, so we can't read them.
Careful with credentials
- RDP passwords go straight to the Remote Desktop component and are never written to a file
- Web panels show a certificate prompt in the tab, and remember a certificate you've accepted
- Copy password clears itself from the clipboard after a short time
- SSH host keys are checked before a password is sent
Who it's for
IT support for a small office. Keep the office file server's Remote Desktop, the printer's admin page and the router in one group, next to the staff PCs you help through RemoteAccessApp. See remote IT support for small businesses.
Home labs and side projects. A VNC desktop on a small Linux board, reached through an SSH tunnel, an SFTP share on a NAS and a couple of cloud servers, all in one list you can open from any of your PCs.
Anyone with more than one PC. Your own PCs don't need RDP at all: the free RemoteAccessApp Agent gives you remote desktop through any router, on Home editions of Windows too. Save RDP for the machines where it's already set up.
