Tell Claude Code what to fix. It does it through RemoteAccessApp.
Your AI assistant sets up servers and fixes PCs in your account - and every PC still asks first. This page has the tools and the setup; for the everyday jobs it suits and how consent works, see AI remote support with Claude Code.
How it fits together
MCP
An open standard that lets AI assistants use outside tools.
Your assistant
Claude Code today, on your own Anthropic account. More to come.
The RemoteAccessApp MCP server
Comes with the Windows app and runs on your PC, signed in as you.
What it can do
The tool names you'll see when your assistant asks.
Your PCs

remotedeskand looks like:claude mcp add --scope user remotedesk -- "C:\…\RemoteDesk\Console\mcp\RemoteDesk.Mcp.exe"
Step 4: Restart and ask
Type
/mcp- you should see remotedesk · connected. Then just ask.
How you stay in control
- Each PC asks the person there to Allow, unless its user turned on unattended access.
- A banner on the PC names the assistant for as long as it's connected.
- On a view-only PC it can look, but not click, type or run commands.
- Claude Code asks you before each tool, unless you've allowed it.
- The app's MCP page shows what it's doing, with Disconnect, Stop and an off switch.
- Passwords you give it are saved encrypted, never shown back or logged.
- A new server's SSH key needs your OK; a key that changed is refused.
- Your PC keeps only a short note of each action - never what it typed or what commands printed.
AI makes mistakes. Check its plan before you approve it, keep backups, and keep it away from systems where a mistake would be serious. What it does through your account is your responsibility - see section 8 of our Terms. Our remote desktop FAQ also answers whether it's safe to let an AI assistant control your computer, and how to stop one.
Your data. The MCP server runs on your PC, so RemoteAccessApp receives nothing extra. What the assistant sees - screenshots and command output - goes to its provider (Anthropic, for Claude Code). If other people use those PCs, tell them. More in our Privacy Policy.
