How to remote desktop into multiple computers
A home PC, a work PC, a parent's laptop, a server in the cupboard: once there's more than one computer to reach, the usual one-address-at-a-time remote desktop gets clumsy. RemoteAccessApp keeps them all in one list, opens several at once, and works from the app, a browser or your phone.
- All your PCs in one list
- Several open at once
- No port forwarding
Updated · Windows 10 and 11 PCs and Linux desktops
Set it up
Step 1: Install RemoteAccessApp on each computer
One free download for Windows 10 and 11 PCs, and a Linux Agent for Linux desktops. Each PC connects out to RemoteAccessApp, so there are no ports to open and no VPN to set up. See Download.
Step 2: Add them all to one account
Sign in on each PC with the same account, or add it with a 6-digit setup code. Every computer then shows up on the Devices page with whether it's online, in use or offline.
Step 3: Decide how you'll be let in
For PCs other people use, they click Allow when you connect. For your own PCs, turn on unattended access so you can get in with nobody there; see unattended access on multiple computers.
Step 4: Open them
Open a PC from the Devices page, then open the next. Each one gets its own session, and they stay connected while you switch between them.
Work with several open at once
- Grid or Focus: Live sessions shows every open PC side by side as a Grid, or one at a time in Focus with the others a click away.
- Quick switching: Ctrl+Alt+PgUp and Ctrl+Alt+PgDn move between sessions without the mouse.
- One action on all of them: mirror your mouse and keyboard, or run one command on every PC. See control multiple computers at once.
- Servers too: SSH, RDP and VNC hosts sit in the Connections page next to your PCs, in tabs or split panes.
Remote desktop is only part of looking after a lot of PCs. For updates on a schedule, Windows tools and sharing the work with others, see how to manage multiple computers from one place.
From a browser or your phone
Away from your own computer? Sign in on the RemoteAccessApp website in any modern browser, on a borrowed laptop, a Mac, a tablet or your phone, and open any PC in your account. Nothing needs installing on the device you connect from. See control a PC from your phone.
Every session is visible and encrypted
Each PC shows a banner for as long as anyone is connected, and the person there can switch you to view-only or end the session. Sessions are encrypted, and you never need to expose a PC to the internet with an open port.
How many computers
Free covers up to 5 PCs, with 3 open at the same time, for personal and work use. Pro Pro is unlimited and adds sound and every monitor.
