Working on a PC

Control several PCs at once

Open several PCs side by side and mirror your mouse and keyboard to all of them, or run one command on many PCs, to set them up in one go.

Mirror your mouse and keyboard

Mirroring sends what you do on one PC to every PC in the group, so you can set up several PCs at once. The guide to control multiple computers at once walks through mirroring, running one command on all of them and watching them side by side.

  1. On the Devices page, select the PCs: Ctrl+click each one, or drag across them.
  2. Right-click the selection and choose Open (number) with mirrored input, for example Open 3 with mirrored input.
  3. Work on any of them. The toolbar shows Mirroring and how many PCs follow along.

To turn mirroring on or off during sessions that are already open, use Mirror input in Live sessions, or Ctrl+Alt+Shift+M.

Mirroring works best on PCs that look the same: same screen size, same windows in the same places. Clicks land at the same spot on each screen.

Run one command on many PCs

Select PCs on the Devices page, right-click and choose Run a command on (number) PCs…. You type one command and see each PC's output separately. The same menu can message several PCs, send them files or check them for updates. Nothing runs on a view-only PC.

For servers

On the Connections page, Broadcast sends one command to several SSH tabs at once. See split view and workspaces.

How many at once

The free plan opens up to 3 PCs at a time. Pro removes the limit. See Free, Pro and billing. If Pro isn't right for you, you can get a refund for Pro within 30 days of your first payment.
